The Gründungszuschussthe start-up grant for founders coming out of unemployment benefit has two phases. Phase one pays your last Arbeitslosengeldunemployment benefit plus €300 a month for six months. Phase two may pay €300 a month for up to nine more months, on a separate decision, if you show that the business is running.

§ 93 and § 94 SGB III. The grant needs at least 150 days of benefit left on the day your business starts, a full-time business, a viability statement and an application before you start. Your caseworker decides.
